Microsoft released a plug-ins suite of Excel and PowerPoint for corporate services on Tuesday.
The plug-and-play features include the ability to upload Excel and PDF documents, run scripts on the server, and automate key functions of the Excel and/or PowerPoint software.
The software is designed to help corporate users and businesses save time and money while also providing a comprehensive, modern solution for their IT needs.
The latest version of Excel for Business Suite, which was released last month, offers a new feature called SharePoint Workflow, which allows for easy sharing of content between various Microsoft Excel and Office apps.
Microsoft released a free version of the plug- in suite on Monday, but the company says it will launch a paid version in the future.
Microsoft has made some strides in the last year to increase its user base of businesses.
The company announced a new Office 365 subscription service in August that offered free and ad-supported Office 365 for Business subscribers.
