The cost of living in the US is higher than the rest of the world.
The average annual cost of a standard American home is $11,600, according to a new report by the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation.
That compares to $8,700 in Germany and $6,300 in Canada.
That’s compared to $3,400 in Japan and $2,900 in the UK.
The report estimates that the average American household spent $11.4 billion in healthcare costs last year.
That comes out to an average cost of $9,400 per person.
In the UK, the average cost per person is $10,600.
A UK study released last year found that in the last decade, average healthcare costs in the country rose by 5 percent annually.
And the average household in the United States spent an average of $10.3 billion per year on healthcare, according a recent report from the Congressional Budget Office.
